Harnaaz Sandhu: Grace, Grit & Growth

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was born on March 3, 2000, in the vibrant state of Punjab, India. She comes from the quaint village of Kohali in the Gurdaspur district—a place that shaped her early values and dreams.

Raised by her parents, Pritampal Singh Sandhu and Dr. Rabinder (or Ravinder) Kaur Sandhu, Harnaaz grew up with a balance of tradition and ambition. Her father, involved in real estate, grounded her with a practical outlook on life, while her mother, a dedicated gynecologist, inspired her with compassion and purpose.

Together, they gave Harnaaz not just strong roots—but the wings to soar.

In 2006, Harnaaz’s childhood took an international turn when her family moved to England. However, after a couple of years abroad, they returned to India and eventually made their home in Chandigarh.

It was in this vibrant city that Harnaaz’s journey truly began to take shape. She attended Shivalik Public School and later graduated from Post Graduate Government College for Girls. But even then, she was more than just a student—she was already shaping a path defined by purpose, confidence, and a deep sense of advocacy.

Long before the spotlight found her, Harnaaz was quietly building a foundation of education and self-belief that would one day set her apart from the rest.

Rising in Beauty:

From a young age, Harnaaz was drawn to the world of modeling and pageantry. Her journey began in her teenage years, and by the age of 17, she had already made her mark—winning the title of Miss Chandigarh 2017 and placing as 1st runner-up in the Times Fresh Face contest.

In 2019, she took a major step forward by winning Femina Miss India Punjab, which propelled her onto the national stage and further fueled her dreams.

But it was in 2021 that Harnaaz’s life changed forever. She was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2021, earning her the honor of representing India at the Miss Universe pageant. That same year, she made history—bringing home the Miss Universe crown, becoming only the third Indian woman to do so, following in the footsteps of legends Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta.

During her reign, Harnaaz didn’t just wear the crown—she wore her values proudly, traveling the world and using her platform to champion causes close to her heart.

Debut in Bollywood :

After conquering the universe, Harnaaz Sandhu is now ready to conquer the silver screen! The former Miss Universe is making her much-anticipated Bollywood debut in the high-octane action thriller Baaghi 4 — a franchise known for its intensity, stunts, and star power. Harnaaz’s entry into cinema marks a bold new chapter, and she’s not just stepping into the frame — she’s commanding it
