From Biker Horror to Couture Glam: Bella Hadid Shines in Ryan Murphy’s The Beauty

Ryan Murphy has never shied away from bold casting or provocative storytelling, and his forthcoming TV series The Beauty might be his most audacious yet. The show marks a major acting milestone for Bella Hadid, who takes on her most demanding role to date—both physically and emotionally.

While Hadid previously appeared in Yellowstone as cowgirl Sadie, The Beauty raises the stakes considerably. She plays Ruby, a woman who contracts a sexually transmitted disease that renders its host irresistibly beautiful—at the ultimate cost of death. It’s a satirical sci-fi body horror premise that requires grit, vulnerability, and stamina. Hadid delivered all three, performing her own stunts, including high-octane motorcycle sequences. Leaked set photos show her bloodied and bruised, legs slashed, clad in razor-sharp red leathers that fuse biker bravado with dystopian cool.

Beauty, in Murphy’s world, is never free—and Hadid embodies that danger with fearless commitment.

Fire Red on the Red Carpet: A Schiaparelli Moment

Stepping out for the New York premiere at the Museum of Modern Art on January 14, Hadid mirrored her on-screen intensity with couture polish. She chose a Schiaparelli fall 2025 gown in the same incendiary fire-red hue seen in The Beauty. The silky halterneck dress featured a trompe l’oeil bodice with sheer diamond-shaped panelling cascading down the hips and trailing into a dramatic train.

Accessories were restrained and elegant: diamond and silver rings with stud earrings by Chopard, paired with delicate red stilettos. Her still-blonde hair was slicked into a side-parted bun, while bronzed makeup kept the focus on the dress’s sculptural lines.

This appearance marked Hadid’s first major red carpet moment of 2026, after skipping awards season fanfare in favor of a low-key start to the year.

A Dark Ensemble Cast and a Dangerous Miracle

Set to drop January 21, The Beauty boasts a compelling ensemble. Ashton Kutcher stars as a morally murky tech mogul who secretly engineers the miracle drug “The Beauty,” determined to protect his trillion-dollar empire at any cost. Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall play government agents unraveling a string of suspicious deaths among society’s most beautiful elites. The cast is rounded out by Isabella Rossellini and Anthony Ramos, with cameo appearances from Meghan Trainor and Ben Platt.

From Aspen Slopes to Soho Streets

Away from set and spotlight, Hadid has eased into 2026 with enviable off-duty style. She rang in the year in Aspen—Hollywood’s favorite ski haunt—serving vintage leathers, denim, and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy-coded minimalism despite subzero temperatures. The biker energy from The Beauty seems to have followed her home.

Earlier on premiere day, she was spotted in Soho in a cobalt-blue look by Saint Laurent: a tie-neck blouse, paperbag leather skirt, the cult Mombasa bag slung over her shoulder, oversized Esther sunglasses, and pointed patent slingback pumps.

With The Beauty, Bella Hadid proves she’s not just wearing daring roles—she’s earning them. Between fearless stunt work, a razor-sharp performance, and a red-hot couture moment, Hadid’s 2026 has officially begun in high gear.

In a world obsessed with perfection, Bella Hadid proves that real power lies in risk—on screen, on the red carpet, and beyond.
